Coach Holcombe played baseball and soccer, growing up but when he got to 7th grade, football became his  passion. He played at Aldine HS in the 90's. From there he played one year at Hardin-Simmons University.  He graduated from Hardin-Simmons and in 2017 and finished my Masters degree from St Thomas University.  He has been teaching and coaching for 19 years. At Creekwood, he will teach TX History.  He has been married to his wife, Stacy, for 24 years and they have two daughters, Sarah(19) and Rachel (16).  His hobbies include playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
